TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST II

Wage/Salary: Commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be familiar with current PC
hardware for troubleshooting and to provide knowledgeable answers.
General technical support experience a plus. Ability to learn custom
software applications.
About the position:
Apteryx Inc. is looking for a talented people-person who can provide
accurate, quick and thorough technical solutions for our dental
and custom software customers and for our potential new customers.
The successful candidate will be skillful with Windows, be familiar
with various database formats, able to create/edit technical guides
as well as troubleshooting and identifying potential technical
support issues. Networking knowledge is required, as well as an
inherent ability to be flexible and well organized.
The position
is Technical Support for our customers, primarily digital radiography.
We developed the software that interfaces to dozens of manufacturers.
A large aspect of this position would be traveling into the field
to install, train and support our larger corporation/institution
customers that use our DICOM client and server software. Installation
would entail large LAN/WAN network configuration and troubleshooting.
Other duties may include training other end users, phone support,
and technical writing
