HELP: DOB Off By 1 Day When Linked To Dentrix

SYMPTOMS

When linking the XrayVision® (XV) application to Dentrix via the Dentrix DataDrill, the date-of-birth of the patient is off by one day.

CAUSE

And underlying change in the way Dentrix tracks the patient's DOB can result in the DOB being off by one day.

RESOLUTION

1. Download and install the latest Dentrix DataDrill update located at http://www.apteryx.com/software-updates under the NameGrabber and DataDrill Updates section.

2. Launch XV and then select Database > DataDrill > DataDrill Options from the menu. Double-click on the Dentrix option.



3. Enable the Birthdays need to be adjusted by a day option.



4. Click OK to save the changes.
