HELP: Out Of PAC License Warnings

SYMPTOMS

When starting XV, a licensing information warning dialog box is displayed:

CAUSES

• The facility has used up the number of licenses that were purchased for each computer or server using the software.
• A user launch the application from a computer that is not a licensed image capture/viewing station or a licensed computer is replaced. In these situations, the license needs to be freed and reallocated (or assigned) to another computer.

RESOLUTION

Add Additional Licenses (if one or more additional computers need to use the software):

1. Visit the Apteryx Store online or contact Apteryx to purchase additional PAC licenses for the additional computers. A new registration number will be issued by Apteryx to add additional license.
2. Select the Add Licenses button to add the new registration number and then refer to the following KB Article for instructions: HOWTO__Add_An_Additional_PAC_License.htm.

Reallocate a License (if a previously unlicensed computer needs to access the application or a licensed computer was replaced by a new computer):
