HELP: Unable to create a new ZIP file; ZIP library busy

SYMPTOMS

The following error appears after saving a layout:

CAUSE

This error occurs when users perform the following steps after modifying an existing layout:

1. Clicks X to close the layout and the 'Save/Discard changes' dialog box appears.

2. Clicks the Save button to save the modifications.

3. Immediately clicks X again, while the layout is still saving.

4. Clicks Save a second time when prompted again.

5. The Unable to create a new Zip file error appears. Clicks OK.

6. The 'Save Image Error' message appears indicating the image will not be closed.

RESOLUTION

Despite what this error message says, the file and modifications are not lost. The user should wait until the file is completely saved before trying to close.
