HOWTO: Combine Single Images INTo A Layout

Occasionally, a user may erroneously capture single x-ray images instead of capturing them in a layout. Follow the directions below to move the images into a layout after the fact:

1. Leave any of the captured images that should be included the layout open. Close any additional images. Select File > Acquire > Capture Layout Images from the menu or click on the Capture Layout button () on the toolbar.

2. Select the desired layout on he 'Select Layout' dialog box and then click on the OK button.

3. On the 'Capture Layout' screen, select the first tile if it is not selected by default.

4. Select the Take/Retake From button and then Open Image from the pop-up menu.

5. The 'Add/Insert Open Document' utility displays with the open images listed by taken date/time. Enable the preview window, if desired, select the desired image, and then click on OK.



6. Repeat Steps 3 - 5 for the additional tiles until all the tiles display their respective images.

7. Click the Done button when complete to close the capture window and exit to the Layout view.
