OVERVIEW: Apteryx Imaging Version 3.12 Upgrades

Please note! Upgrading to version 3.12 may require updating hardware drivers. Please contact your appropriate technical support provider or Apteryx Support (support@apteryx.com) to find out if your imaging system requires an update.

Apteryx Imaging version 3.12 or higher can not support Windows 2000 due to Microsoft's discontinuation of support for this product. Visit Microsoft's Windows 2000 Solution Center for more information.

The various upgrade components available on Apteryx's upgrade web pages will automatically find and upgrade XrayVision® (XV) and its components.   During the upgrade of various XV components, backups are automatically generated that can be used to downgrade in the event of failure of the new component.  

The latest version of Apteryx Imaging (XrayVision® 3.12 and XVLite™ 3.12) and related OEM applications, are now available as upgraders on Apteryx.com’s Updates & Add Ons Website. Unlike previous upgrades, version 3.12 or higher WILL require hardware extensions, components, and add-ons to also be updated for compliance with the new version of the software. To meet this end, ALL downloadable extensions, components, and add-ons online have additionally been updated to a version compatible with Apteryx Imaging 3.12.

After upgrading Apteryx Imaging applications automatically check the computer environment to try to detect incompatible DLLs and extension components. Should any incompatible components be detected, the following dialog box will display indicating which components are conflicting.

Make note of the conflicting components and then click on No! Close the program.
