The ArchiveIT™ extension to XrayVision® (XV) manages the storage and recall of patients and patient images to and from archive media. Once a patient or an image has been archived, it is removed from the main system's hard drive thus freeing memory. ArchiveIT™ not only moves the data but remembers where it is stored. When a patient or images needs to be recalled, ArchiveIT™ prompts for the named media so that the user does not have to remember where things are stored.
Features:
Patients and all their associated images can be archived
Images can either be archived for the currently open patient or for all patients.
One or more archived Patients can be recalled and added back to the patient database
Images can be viewed from an archive without physically recalling it (i.e. adding it back to the patient's record)
