XrayVision® (XV) takes licences either by computer (for normal networks) or by user (for terminal server networks). The particular license tracking mechanism utilized by XV can be display or changed Tools > Advanced Options > License Tracking.
Each computer or user utilizing the program is allocated a PAC license. The number of PAC licenses available in a system can be displayed by selecting Help > Display Licensing Information from the option in the menu.
The number of PACs available to a system can be increased by purchasing additional licenses. Contact Apteryx Support for assistance.
Changing
the license tracking method does not automatically free up the licenses that
were allocated by the previous method. To free these licenses manually, please
refer to the knowledgebase article HOWTO:
Reallocate Licenses.
