After registering the software in Vista, and restarting the program, it asks for registration information again.
This problem occurs because the user does not have the administrative privileges necessary to create registration information. To properly register the software, the user should right-click on the executable (e.g. XVAssistant.EXE or XVlite.EXE) and click on "Run as Administrator". You only have to do this the first time you register the software.
